Welcome to the Front Range Landfill of Erie, Colorado. Our professional staff strives to provide safe, convenient and timely disposal services for individuals, businesses and local communities.
Before visiting our landfill, please view the Front Range Landfill Safety Video. And, anyone who exits their vehicle at the landfill must wear a safety vest.
For safety and environmental reasons, it is critical to cover or tarp and secure all loads in such a manner that no debris can fly out or become airborne in anyway. Please respect the safety of everyone who lives in the area as well as fellow drivers and passengers who may follow you to the landfill. Per state requirements, all uncovered or unsecured loads will be charged double.

**Reminder**: Transfer Station is used for cars and pickups during bad weather, not all the time!

Landfill Map
The landfill entrance is near the intersection of Weld County Road 5 and Road 6 in Erie, Colorado. All vehicles are required to weigh in and weigh out on the certified scales. Based on the type of vehicle and materials, scale personnel will direct drivers to the appropriate landfill location.
The Transfer Station is near the landfill entrance. This is where cars and pickups unload their waste. Just outside this building is where white goods are placed for further processing and recycling.
Cars and pickup trucks unload out of the wind and weather in the safety of the Transfer Station.
